La Casa Amarilla
La Casa Amrilla (The Yellow House) is a simple 2 Bedroom house. When I say simple, I mean the very basic, typical house that you find in many of Costa Rica's outskirts. This house was built by one of Etlingera Farm's former guardians for his son to live in during their era. Years ago, when visitors were more common around here, we frequently used the yellow house as our guest house. It was very practical for that purpose as it is part of the property, yet far enough away to not always be part of the same action. Such an arrangement can work out very well when us farmers want to turn in at 8:00 O'clock at night because we wake up early to take care of our chores. Our guests, for some reason, are always on party mode. Understandable. They are usually on vacation.
