La Feria
Most towns of any reasonable size and population in Costa Rica host a Saturday morning Ferria, and Guápiles is no exception. The Ferria is an open air, outdoor, farmer’s market. All the farmers of the area gather in the streets of Guapiles ever Saturday morning to sell their locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses and other dairy products. The Ferria of Guápiles provides its inhabitants with value, quality, flavor, freshness, and an opportunity to socialize.
